(Friend 5, miss victoriana, would approve. )Do not bring anything you hate.Some years ago, i bought a long tiered blue silk s********t in paris.In theory, it is a good travelling item, as it can also be worn as a belted strapless dress.I hate it.I feel blowsy in it.But i brought it with me anyhow, and wore it twice, to tour the magical mountain town of sintra, and to the beach in cascais, by which time it was a scorching 35 degrees c.In sintra, i tied each side of the hem, pigtail style, so i would not trip on the endless steps and tumble down the mountain.In cascais, it was too hot to wear a long s********t, so i hiked it up as a dress over my ruffled bathing suit and felt blowsy.
